Pavit Sethi is a Senior Analyst at Yaletown Partners in the Vancouver office. He contributes across the investment lifecycle, including sourcing, due diligence, deal structuring and execution, portfolio monitoring & valuation, and internal platform development.

Prior to joining Yaletown, Pavit worked at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP for 4.5 years, where he advised hundreds of high-growth technology companies on venture financings, cap tables, recapitalizations, and M&A. He worked closely with founders, investors, bankers, and legal teams to execute complex deals, including Clio’s US$900M Series F financing led by New Enterprise Associates. He has also worked in Corporate Development at Mercer International, a NASDAQ-listed forestry company, supporting M&A and global expansion initiatives.  Pavit is the founder and President of the South Asian Venture Capital Association (SAVCA), a national non-profit advancing South Asian representation and connectivity across Canada’s venture capital and technology ecosystem.

Pavit earned his Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) – Finance and Business Law from University of British Columbia. He is also an active CFA Charter holder.
