VANCOUVER, BC – Tasktop, the leader in Value Stream Integration, today announced David Wong has joined the company as vice president of engineering.Wong is a seasoned innovator with more than 25 years of experience in the high-tech industry. Throughout his career he has been involved with earlier stage organizations dealing with nascent technologies that generally target emerging markets.

Before that, Wong was VP of product development at PMC-Sierra, a leading provider of broadband communications and storage semiconductors. In this role, Wong oversaw the development of several product families, growing the design team to 100+, and helped coordinate the company's successful entry into the fiber channel and SAS markets. Previously, Wong was one of the 30 founders of PMC as well as a technical leader at Packet Engines, a successful gigabit switch router start-up that was acquired by Alcatel in late 1998.
