As part of the Pre-Conference Investor Session held on Wednesday Sept 24, 2014, Yaletown Partner Hans Knapp will moderate a panel on GP Operations. Hans will lead speaker panelists Neal Hill of BDC, Steve Gillan of Azure Capital and Chris Erickson of Pangaea through a discussion on such topics as emerging compensation models, how small funds deal with back offices, infrastructure to maximize efficiencies, creative ideas for LP / CEO events and effective LP reporting. Entrepreneurs Bootcamp Reaches Beyond BVF
For entrepreneurs too early stage or not-quite-ready to attend the Banff Venture Forum, Rocketbuilders is hosting a one-day Entrepreneur Bootcamp on September 24. Yaletown partner, Brad Johns, is among the venture capital advisors participating and will provide startups with details on fundraising in Western Canada and the US, as well as knowledge on topics such as valuations, deal structures, tips and trends.
