About Michael Sfalcin
For over 10 years, Michael has worked at the intersection of the technology and finance industries in many capacities, including co-founder, investor, and consultant. Michael has sourced, managed and completed dozens of investments and specializes in providing technology companies with growth capital to scale operations. Before joining Yaletown as a Principal in the Toronto office, he helped a Schedule A Bank re-enter the technology lending market. For the five previous years, he was an Investment Director with a venture capital and venture debt firm, leading more than 15 successful investments. Michael began his career with a seed-stage incubation and investment firm that was created and financed by a successful entrepreneur. Having graduated from McMaster’s DeGroote School of Business, Michael earned his MBA in Finance and Management of Innovation and New Technology.
